Terms of service & privacy notice
The conditions under which PAWLY works, and what happens to the personal data you give me.
Last updated: September 2026. PAWLY — Dog Walking & Pet Care, Luxembourg. Contact: info@pawlydogcare.com.
Who you are dealing with
PAWLY is a dog walking and in-home pet care service operating in Luxembourg City and the surrounding communes. It is run by one person, who carries out every visit.
Email: info@pawlydogcare.com
Telephone and WhatsApp: +352 621 314 165
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 07:00–21:00
Invoices are issued by the commercial company through which this activity is operated, whose identification details appear in full on every invoice. Those details are provided before any booking is confirmed, and on request at any time.
1. Scope
These terms apply to every service booked with PAWLY. By confirming a booking you accept them. Any variation agreed between us is valid only in writing, by email or WhatsApp.
2. Meet & greet and onboarding
No service is delivered before a meet & greet has taken place at the client's home. At that meeting the client provides the dog's routine, feeding instructions, medical history, vaccination status, vet details and any known behavioural issues.
The client confirms that the dog is vaccinated in line with Luxembourg requirements, is treated against fleas and ticks, and has no history of biting a person. PAWLY may decline or end an engagement if this proves inaccurate.
3. Bookings and payment
- Bookings are confirmed in writing. A booking is not held until confirmed.
- Single services are invoiced weekly. Monthly packages are invoiced at the start of the month. Overnight and holiday bookings require a 30% deposit at confirmation, with the balance due on the final day.
- Payment is by bank transfer, within 10 days of the invoice date.
- Published rates include travel within the stated service area.
4. Cancellations
Single services: free more than 24 hours before the scheduled time, 50% between 12 and 24 hours, 100% under 12 hours.
Overnight and holiday bookings: free more than 14 days before the start date, 50% between 3 and 14 days, 100% under 3 days. The deposit is retained within the 14-day window.
If PAWLY cancels for any reason other than force majeure, the client is refunded in full and, where possible, offered an alternative slot.
5. Keys and access
Keys are handed over against a written form recording the number of keys, the date and the purpose. They are stored securely, labelled with a code only, and kept separately from the client's name and address. Keys are returned within 48 hours of a written request and at the end of the engagement.
Where the client prefers, access may instead be arranged by key safe or digital code. PAWLY does not duplicate keys or give them to any third party.
6. Health, emergencies and veterinary care
If a dog falls ill or is injured while in PAWLY's care, the client is contacted immediately. If the client cannot be reached and the situation is urgent, PAWLY will take the dog to the client's own veterinary practice, or to the nearest available emergency clinic.
By booking, the client authorises this and accepts responsibility for the resulting veterinary costs. The client is asked to nominate an emergency contact in Luxembourg at the meet & greet.
7. Behaviour and safety
- All walks are individual, or with dogs from the same household.
- Dogs are kept on lead unless the client has given written authorisation for off-lead time and PAWLY judges the location and the dog's recall to be safe.
- PAWLY may shorten or adapt a walk in extreme heat, storms or ice, and will say so in the report.
- PAWLY may end an engagement if a dog presents a risk to people or other animals.
8. Liability
PAWLY carries out every service with professional care. Liability is limited to damage directly caused by proven negligence on PAWLY's part.
Under Luxembourg law the owner remains liable for damage caused by their animal to third parties or to property. Clients are advised to hold a civil liability insurance policy covering their dog.
9. Photographs
Photographs taken during visits are sent to the client as part of the reporting. They are not published or used for marketing without the client's separate written consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
10. Privacy notice
Who is responsible. PAWLY — Dog Walking & Pet Care, Luxembourg, is the data controller. Contact: info@pawlydogcare.com.
What is collected. Name, email address, telephone number, home address and access details, your dog's details and veterinary contact, and the content of your messages.
Why. To answer enquiries, to deliver and schedule the service, to reach you in an emergency, and to issue invoices. The legal bases are the performance of a contract, the legitimate interest in replying to an enquiry, and legal obligations for accounting records.
How long. Enquiry data is kept for 12 months if no booking follows. Client data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for 10 years thereafter where Luxembourg accounting law requires it.

Messages sent through the contact form are transmitted by a form-delivery service acting as a processor, only in order to forward them to PAWLY by email.
